Issifu Mahmoud, Member of Parliament for Binduri Constituency, has strongly condemned the recent violent attacks in the area, including a brutal assault in Benguri that claimed the lives of a mother and her four children.
Describing the incidents as unacceptable, Mahmoud extended his condolences to the bereaved families and assured residents of collaborative efforts with authorities to restore peace and ensure justice.
The MP praised the military for their professionalism in making arrests and seizing arms linked to the attacks but criticized the burning of confiscated motorbikes, urging adherence to due process.
He called on residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies to maintain order.
